The 18th Annual California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) Conference – Merging Medicine XVIII focused on clinical updates in naturopathic primary care and featured presentations from several experienced naturopaths over the course of the two-day conference. Hundreds of naturopaths were in attendance to listen to the presentations, network with fellow naturopaths, meet with exhibiting companies, and gain CE credits during the conference on April 9-10, 2016 in Marina del Rey, California.
Merging Medicine XVIII Presentations
The presentations were very informative and educational, including topics such as: Conventional and Naturopathic Approaches to Asthma Diagnosis and Treatment, Preconception Care for Overweight and Obese Clients, Geriatric Primary Care, and Cardiovascular Diagnosis using Biomarker Assessment in a Gender-Specific Model for Optimal Treatment Outcomes for Women, among others.
Sanesco Exhibit at CNDA Merging Medicine XVIII
Sanesco is a proud supporter of the CNDA and we were happy to attend the conference this year as an exhibitor to show our support of the organization. As an exhibitor, we had the opportunity to connect with our network of naturopathic doctors based in California, meet naturopath students, network with other health companies, and share information with attendees about our approach to assessing, monitoring and correcting neurotransmitter and hormone imbalances.
Sanesco’s booth was positioned in the foyer and we even got a lot of traffic from hotel guests passing by to the elevators who were intrigued and interested in how they might improve their health using Sanesco’s clinical model. We were happy to refer them to some practitioners in their area so that may gain access to our laboratory testing services and Targeted Nutritional Therapy supplements.
The Communication System Management Model for Naturopathic Doctors
Sanesco’s clinical model is only available through licensed healthcare practitioners, and currently about 35% of our clinician network is comprised of naturopathic doctors with a majority being medical doctors (MDs) or osteopathic doctors (DOs).
“Naturopaths understand ‘holistic’ at a very deep level”, says Ramona Richard, Director of Education for Sanesco. “They understand the limitations of conventional medicine and truly focus on addressing the causes of conditions that their patients bring to their office. They understand that the body is self-healing and they are the wise facilitators of that healing.”
Our objective is to provide innovative, research-based clinical tools for clinicians to help their patients address the underlying root causes of common conditions related to HPA-T axis function through a natural therapeutic approach.
From all of us at Sanesco, we would like to shout out a very special thank you to all of the Naturopaths providing a high level of care to their patients and making a difference to improve health in the lives of people worldwide.
