SomniTRTM

Delayed-Release Sleep Formula*

SomniTR™ is a delayed-release formula to support sleep.*

SomniTR supports optimal melatonin production by supplementing multiple steps in the serotonin-to-melatonin pathway and also influences inhibitory GABAergic activity.*

encapsulating the Art & Science of Functional Nutrition™

Formula Overview

SomniTR™ 1

Reduced melatonin activity can contribute to prolonged sleep latency, inability to stay asleep, and overall disruption to healthy circadian rhythms, including occasional  jet lag.1 Circadian rhythm imbalances are hypothesized to contribute to increased appetite and weight gain.2

SomniTR provides melatonin and also provides support for healthy GABA-A receptor sites function.* Lactium have been shown to improve quality of optimal sleep by supporting GABA-A receptor activity.*3 ForsLean supports cAMP4 while pantothenic acid supports acetyl coenzyme A,5 both of which are important in healthy melatonin synthesis.*6

SomniTR contains ingredients that support melatonin production by supplementing multiple steps in the serotonin-to-melatonin pathway, and influencing balanced inhibitory GABAergic activity to impact multiple functional pathways connected to healthy sleep.

Lactium® Acts as a GABA-A receptor agonist, maintaining healthy receptor activity.*7 Lactium has been shown to decrease stress-related symptoms for balance in women and significantly improve healthy sleep quality.*3,7

ForsLean® (standardized to 20% forskolin) a source of forskolin that increases healthy cAMP activity.*4 Serotonin N-acetyltransferase requires cAMP to metabolize serotonin to N-acetylserotonin, the immediate precursor to melatonin.6

PantethinePrecursor to acetyl coenzyme A.*2 Production of N-acetylserotonin requires acetyl coenzyme A.6

Calcium (as Dicalcium Phosphate) potentiates the effects of cAMP.* Serotonin N-acetyltransferase requires cAMP to convert serotonin to the precursor to melatonin.5

Melatonin is a neurohormone involved with balanced circadian rhythm regulation and sleep induction.*2

Inhibitory Neurotransmitter

Overview

One of our feel-good neurotransmitters; Low levels of serotonin may relate to occasional symptoms like moodiness, sleep issues, and carb cravings.
