Meet Dr. Bradley Bongiovanni, aka Dr B

Share

It’s Naturopathic Medicine Week, and we’d love for you to meet some of the naturopathic doctors on our Clinical Advisory Board! We’ll kick off the introductions with a short Q&A with Dr. Bradley Bongiovanni, aka Dr. B, and founder of Wholistic Medicine Specialists of Atlanta.
Q: What’s your proudest moment relative to Sanesco and our work on the HPA-T axis?
“Thanks to my continued commitment to deepening my understanding and expertise on the HPA axis and NeuroWellness Program™, I was recently invited to speak at Harvard Business School to discuss my area of expertise, Nutritional Psychiatry. Hard to top speaking at Harvard…and I also got to meet Dos Equis’ ‘the most interesting man in the world’!
Q: What’s your favorite part of your work?
“I’d have to say helping people ‘HEALTH-actualize’ themselves, removing health obstacles so that symptoms and conditions can be resolved and/or reversed, but then being part of the unfolding process to see how optimizing a patients health leads to their total transformation across work, career, family, life, purpose.”
Q: What would people be surprised to know about you?
“I am a man of many former talents and trades, and many people would be surprised to know that I have worked as a Mall Santa, a paper shredder at a bank, a construction lunch truck driver, a kitchenware expert (twice), a lifeguard, a bartender, and a waiter at a Mexican restaurant! Also, I am a huge Neil Diamond fan! Yes, I said it. And I am proud.”
Q: What is the most important thing you have learned in the last five years?
“That every single important element of our lives STARTS with the right mindset. And mindset is 100% controllable—we create our own worlds.”
Q: What’s your favorite movie?
“I may be the only person on the planet whose favorite movie is “Rudy”. I am a football fan and even played for over 10 years, but I don’t see it as a football movie—I see it as a spiritual movie about the unrelenting commitment to follow one’s dream, when over and over and over again, every one and every thing are telling you IT CAN’T BE DONE.”
Q: What’s on your bucket list?
“Seeing an NFL game from the actual sidelines…whoever facilitates this will have me forever in their debt and grace!”
